Klopotek 'Seasons Greetings'

I have designed individual 'Season Greetings' for Klopotek every year, both in print format and online formats. The aim was always to create a personalized but subtle touch of Klopotek in the corporate design that worked globally for all customers. In addition to numerous drafts, the final card was then prepared in a digital form, usually animated, and sent to customers via a mailing tool or posted on all online channels.
The very early years of designing the 'Seasons Greetings' were bumpy, because I wasn't allowed to use any Christmas symbols or elements that are typical in Germany, as we didn't want to upset customers with a different religious background or customers located in regions who have no connection to winter forests or snow, for example.

WHAT I DID

Concept and production of all formats

I used elements from the Klopotek Stream logo in order to individualize the illustration 'unobtrusively' yet effectively to ensure recognition of the corporate design.

2021 - Print format, front and back pages

We wanted to reach customers in the traditional way by post to promote our 'Cloud' offer. I designed several layouts based on the 'normal Season Greetings card', which I produced and were send out to customers.

In 2020, I wanted to design a card that creates a feeling of an upcoming warm and cozy season of togetherness. And that works particularly well with a cup of hot cocoa together, even though for many families there was only a virtual get-together that year.  I also chose warm and intense colors that evoke a positive mood.  To personalize this idea with 'Klopotek', I picked up the 'steam' with the element of the stream logo. This worked particularly well in the animated card...

2020 - Print format: front page -  inside pages - back page

2019: I came up with a visual puzzle. I drew wintry tracks of animals in the snow ... to give customers a little distraction in the year of the pandemic - and of course to draw attention to our STREAM offers. Again, I took elements from the logo that were suitable for my purpose.
